Zhou Xiaochuan, Vice Chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia and and former Governor of the People's Bank of China had a closed-door conversation with the Hong Kong Academy of Finance on 29 November 2023.
During the seminar, which was moderated by Arthur Yuen, Deputy Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Deputy Chairman of the Academy, Mr Zhou shared his insights on the characteristics of the economic system and monetary policy tools, particularly on the considerations in responding to the changes in cyclical and structural factors of an economy.
