HKIMR-IMF seminar on “Safeguarding Global Financial Stability amid High Inflation and Interest Rates”

The HKIMR and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Hong Kong SAR Sub-Office co-hosted a seminar successfully on “Safeguarding Global Financial Stability amid High Inflation and Interest Rates” by Dr. Jason Wu, Assistant Director and Thomas Pointek, Senior Financial Sector Expert of the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department. They shared their views and analyses in connection with 2023 Global Financial Stability Report. Following the presentation, Natalia Novikova, the IMF Resident Representative in Singapore and Phakawa Jeasakul, the IMF Resident Representative in Hong Kong SAR Sub Office, joined the Q & A session.

The seminar was attended by more than 80 participants.
