HKIMR-IMF seminar on “China’s Rebound: Recent Developments and Outlook”

The HKIMR and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Hong Kong SAR Sub-Office co-hosted a seminar successfully on “China’s Rebound: Recent Developments and Outlook” by Dr Steven Alan Barnett, Senior Resident Representative in China of the IMF and Dr Phakawa Jeasakul, Resident Representative in Hong Kong SAR of the IMF on 9 March 2023. Dr Barnett presented his views on the latest development of the Chinese economy, short term and medium term issues that needs to be addressed. Dr Jeasakul joined him in the Q&A session.

The seminar was attended by more than 100 participants.
