HKIMR x AoF Expert Speakers Series - Macroeconomic Developments, Fed Tightening and Offshore RMB Market Development

The Hong Kong Institute for Monetary and Financial Research (HKIMR) and the Hong Kong Academy of Finance (AoF) co-hosted a webinar on “Macroeconomic Developments, Fed Tightening and Offshore RMB Market Development” on 12 April, featuring Mr Joseph Yam, Former Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and Professor Huang Yiping, Deputy Dean of the National School of Development of Peking University.



During the conversation session, Mr Yam and Prof Huang shared their profound insights on China’s growth and inflation prospects, monetary and fiscal policies, the impact of Fed tightening, RMB internationalisation and RMB offshore market development.

Moderated by KC Kwok, CEO of AoF, this live webinar was well received with over 840,000 real time viewers in Mainland China, Hong Kong and the rest of world.
