HKTDC Webinar on “Discovering and Realising New Opportunities in Asia”

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and The British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong co-organised a webinar titled “Discovering and Realising New Opportunities in Asia” on 18 November 2021. Over 600 participants joined the webinar.

Mr KC Kwok, CEO of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance moderated the panel discussion titled “Capitalising on New Opportunities of the Financial Sector in Asia”, featuring Mr Christopher Hui, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Sir Douglas Flint, Chairman of abrdn plc, Mr David Liao, Co-Chief Executive, Asia-Pacific of HSBC, Ms Kim-See Lim, Regional Director, East Asia & Pacific of International Finance Corporation and Mr Bill Winters, Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Plc.

The distinguished speakers shared their views on the latest business situation in Hong Kong, the development of asset and wealth management businesses, green and sustainable finance, and the business opportunities for Hong Kong as an international financial centre serving the region.
