Dialogue and Dinner with Angel Ng

Ms Angel Ng, Head of Asia, Citi Global Wealth, Ms Sally Lam, Managing Director,
Citi Global Wealth and Mr Horace Yip, Global Market Manager, Hong Kong and
Greater Bay Area, joined our cohort in a convivial evening highlighted by an
interactive dialogue and dinner at The China Club on 10 July 2023.
In the dialogue session moderated by Ms Karen Man, Partner of Baker & McKenzie, we discussed why Asia is the region in the world with the best potential for wealth
management business growth. And Hong Kong is the place to be in wealth
management because of its robust financial ecosystem, common law tradition, status
as an unrivalled gateway to China, and a progressive and open-minded regulatory
system. The dialogue also touched upon how Citi trains its professionals to deal with
the changing business environment such as rapidly rising interest rates, and the
importance of attention to details in consumer banking. A dinner session then
followed when the participants continued to be absorbed in vibrant exchanges with
our guests in a fun-filled evening.
