Mike joined the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation in 2018 to set up the Corporation’s Infrastructure Financing and Securitisation (IFS) Division and hold overall responsibility of the entire division. The IFS Division focuses on providing debt financing for infrastructure projects worldwide, as well as packaging these infrastructure loan assets into marketable instruments through securitisation. Mike led his team to launch successfully the first infrastructure loan backed securitisation in Hong Kong in May 2023.
Mike has close to 30 years of experience in the infrastructure and project finance space spanning across various functions including project finance advisory, origination, execution, risk and portfolio management.
Mike graduated from Simon Fraser University in Canada with a First Honour degree in Business Administration. He is also a holder of the CFA charter, and a cohort member (ALP 23) of the Advanced Leadership Programme offered by Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge. Mike is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
