Mr. Tong is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered PLC, MTR Corporation Limited and Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Limited. He is also the government designated observer on the board of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited.
Mr Tong served as the Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) from 2012 to 2018 and Chairman of the University Grants Committee from 2016 to 2022. He was also the Chairman of KPMG in China and Hong Kong from 2007 to 2011 and the Chairman of the Asia Pacific region and a member of the global board from 2009 to 2011.
