Jon Witts is the Head of Enforcement in the Listing Division of HKEX. Jon has 20 years of experience relating to financial services disputes, investigations and regulatory enforcement matters, including over 11 years as a solicitor in private practice with Allen & Overy, and seven years as Head of Litigation & Legal Investigations, Asia-Pacific for the BNP Paribas group. Jon joined HKEX in 2019 to establish and support the Listing Review Committee, before taking up his current role in Enforcement in 2020. Jon read law at the University of Cambridge, and is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong, a solicitor advocate in England & Wales, and a CEDR-accredited mediator.
