Luke Lee is General Manager, Corporate Banking of SMBC HK.
During Luke’s 25 years to date in the banking sector, he has served a broad cross-section of our society through roles that have included but not limited to retail banking & personal wealth management; small & medium sized enterprise banking; financial institutions & public sector entities coverage; and global multinationals & corporate banking.
Luke started his career in 1996 as an international manager for M&S plc before joining HSBC’s management trainee program during 1997, and then worked for J.P. Morgan for 9 years prior to joining SMBC in 2020.
Luke holds a Combined Studies degree from The Manchester Metropolitan University; graduated on the Dean’s List for The Chinese University of HK’s Global Executive MBA Program; awarded a scholarship for academic excellence whilst accomplishing a Masters in International Economic Law from The Chinese University of HK; holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Psychology from the University of London: Birkbeck College; is a Fellow of CPA Australia; and presently studying to attain a DBA from HK Baptist University.
