HKIMR-AMRO Roundtable on the Economy of Hong Kong, China

The HKIMR and ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) jointly organised a roundtable on the economy of Hong Kong, China on 29 August 2023.
Director Kouqing Li, Chief Economist Hoe Ee Khor and delegates of AMRO had extensive discussions with local experts from academia and private sectors on the macroeconomic outlook, opportunities and challenges of the Hong Kong economy, as well as Hong Kong as a super-connector between mainland China and the rest of the world.
The local experts include Helen Qiao of BofA Securities, Heiwai Tang of the University of Hong Kong, Adrienne Lui of Citi, Geng Xiao of CUHK (Shenzhen), Le Xia of BBVA and Weijun Hu of Macquarie.
